The company use MS Sharepoint/MOSS technologies to deliver its Intranet. This role is to continue SharePoint customization and to rollout the Intranet worldwide. The suitable candidate will work on internal initiatives to promote usage of the system. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of dealing with 3rd suppliers and using their own initiative to deliver solutions.
The main purpose of the role includes the development of Corporate Intranet and Information Management System. Integrating Line of Business Applications and delivering benefits / features of the MOSS platform.
Responsibilities include the design and develop of Intranet / Information Management Systems on MOSS Technologies. The roll out across all company fields. Working with Systems team on systems integration using MOSS. The implementation of Project Management solutions using SharePoint . Building web parts and Business Intelligence.Data Archiving of Intranet content.Document all code and procedures.Ensure high level of system support.
Candidates should have 2 years+ architecting largescale sharepoint solutions from user requirements. In addition you will be familiar with developing custom webparts using SPD, Infopath and the .NET framework as well as experience of Sharepoint object model in (C#) · Working knowledge of XSLT, CSS, JavaScript and HTML. Development of technical specifications based on user requirements · Working knowledge of Windows Work Flows · SharePoint infrastructure installation, configuration and optimisation · Understanding of the wider Microsoft Office suite, Office integration and web services.
