The client is an international organisation involved in the design and development of Telecoms and Datacomms infrastructure globally. They are expanding their operation in Ireland which includes a Global Systems Director to join their Operations & Engineering Group.

 

You will work across all departments, setting systems Policy, standards and owning the system stack design. Working closely with key business stakeholders you will design, build and manage the systems infrastructure from end to end. To achieve this you will be consultative,abletoanalyseandunderstandthe business requirementschallengesandobjectives and create efficient solutions. During this process you will conduct meetings and presentations to both internal stakeholders and external suppliers/vendors. After familiarising yourself with the various business processes and systems you will become the Subject Matter Expert on the systems and infrastructure underpinning OSS/BSS environments. This role will have responsibility for providing the design and implementation of the complete systems stack and be critical in the identification, due diligence investigation and selection of system suppliers/vendors. You are technically proven in your field; team orientated and have a history of relationship management at a senior level.

 

We would love to meet you if you have at least five years’ experience as a Senior System Architect/Director. You have a strong background in network engineering or telecom operations in an OSS/BSS Telecoms Environment as well as previous experience with an ISO 9001 Accreditation or similar. You have excellent communications skills are solution driven and enjoy a collaborative working environment.

The position is hybrid in nature but you must be available to travel to the clients Dublin office regularly.
