The Client is an award winning deep tech company that has developed a world first groundbreaking product. They are now serving the global medical science market including world renowned disease and drug research organizations and are expanding rapidly in that space. As part of that expansion, they would like to meet an ambitious product development professional who is eager to grow their careers alongside the company’s growth trajectory.
Instrumentation Engineer
They are seeking to immediately hire an Instrumentation Scientist to grow their product development team, based in Dublin. You will be operating and contributing to the ongoing development of this complex system and will be involved in the installation and commissioning at customer sites around the world.
Candidates will require a mix of experimental, mechanical, optical, electronic and data analysis skills and ideally be a multidisciplinary team player with a hands on attitude.
The role will involve:
· Complex systems operation · System construction and testing · Experimental design and set-up · Data analysis · Report generation · Software testing
Candidates will be qualified to a bachelors’ degree level in physics or related discipline and have two to five years of relevant experience including:
· Hands on system design and construction · Optical systems design and implementation
· Optical and scientific data analysis
In addition, exposure to any of the following would be great
· Vacuum systems and instrumentation · Programming, Python and/or LabView · Lasers/Laser plasmas.
