As an IT Support Engineer you will work in the global IT Infrastructure and Support Team focusing on regional IT support contributing to the reliable, professional and timely IT support of end users mainly working on cases and requests which require a broad knowledge of the provided IT solutions and insight into the infrastructure.

You definitely have a customer centric approach to resolving issues and you will consult with users to analyze business needs and work with Solution Engineers to design appropriate technology solutions.

As a member of the global support team you will actively participate and contribute within the Group IT Infrastructure and Support team assuring your (internal) customers stay productive using state-of-the-art IT equipment. As a Support Engineer you will become an expert in some of the provided solutions and support the infrastructure team with local IT infrastructure maintenance.

Specifically your responsibilities will include user support providing level 2 Helpdesk support to end users and assist with level 1 as necessary. You will also manage the IT employee onboarding and offboarding process as necessary.

Day to day you will handle IT requests and incident reports based on priority. Review and reprioritise or escalate as necessary. Guide and train junior support staff. Review existing and document new IT support procedures. Review global tickets and collaborate with the global IT Support organization and communicate with external partners to resolve issues and manage tickets as necessary

We would really like to meet you if you have strong IT Support knowledge and experience, at least 5 years, in Windows and Office 365. Experience with communication and collaboration systems (Outlook, Teams). Network technology and security knowledge (WAN, LAN, WLAN). Windows Server (2022/2019/2016) or Linux administration knowledge. You are fluent in English with excellent communication and social skills
