They are now entering another expansion phase and are actively seeking to hire a talented Systems Administrator to join their UK Team.
The role of the Systems Administrator is to take responsibility for all aspects of the addition, configuration, and maintenance of their internal ICT systems. The role will encompass the development and execution of a comprehensive and resilient ICT strategy.
This is an extremely varied role that will allow you to get involved in all areas of ICT and internally you will be the “go to” person for any IT queries. The System Administrator will have the ongoing task of investigating best of breed technology for the company to leverage in protecting users and enable the continued business growth.
The key responsibilities will be to manage the configuration, operational security, and repair of a wide range of technologies including Laptops, PCs, Workstations, Office presentation TVs, Mobile Phones, IP Telephones, Printers, WAN/LAN devices (routers, Wi-Fi access points, switches, leased-line and DSL/fibre). Enable active system monitoring, maintenance, and proactive health checks of all mission critical equipment, services and routines including: Servers, Backups, Cloud PBX & Telephony (In conjunction with 3rd party) including call flows and automation, malware threats, Perimeter / Firewall breaches, Office security including cams and access control and Domain names.
In addition, you will carry out configuration of joiners and leavers set up from device to storage, AD accounts, O/M365 accounts, software installation and config, manage all company licensing and subscriptions in line with their associated licensing agreements including O365, M365, Azure, Domain names, Certificates and maintain Server, Office 365 and all other business applications
You will be a senior member of the support function and should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with an IT related qualification. Experience of of working in a Software Company would be considered desirable as wouldadvanced knowledge of System vulnerabilities and Security Issues. Exposure to our strong knowledge of Azure, SQL databases, Windows Server, AWS, RDP, VPN, MS Office, Teams would be great as would experience of a multi-site WAN.
