The client is an award winning Irish company that has been in operation since 1992. Since their launch they have consistently grown having developed their product from scratch to serve the needs of their customers. They are now entering another expansion phase and are actively seeking to hire a talented IT Systems Support Engineer to join their Managed Services Team.
The client’s Managed Services Team runs the infrastructure that powers their ERP solution. As the IT System Support Engineer you will focus on deploying and supporting field computing equipment on the LAN including, but not limited to, servers, desktops, printers, barcode scanners and mobile devices. The role involves installation, configuration and support of the following products:
MS Windows Server 2012 to 2019, Windows Desktop operating system, Email technologies from Exchange 2010 and later, MS Office 365 and MS Office integrations, Windows Server remote desktop services, WIFI Networks (Ubiquiti Draytek) and Antivirus software.
You are an enthusiastic support Engineer who enjoys customer interaction (You can expect to be on customer sites up to 80% of the time) with three years IT installation and configuration experience. Any exposure to VMWare and Hyper V virtualisation technologies would be advantageous as would cloud technologies experience.
